needs lots of info...

basicly the line will be drawn within the next couple of weeks.. my father and i talked on which route to take.. he wants to know cost of all n/a stuff i will do and price of s/c i want... im sold with whipple..and im pretty sure i want over 400rwhp (this is my first car and i dont wanna over boat it) i have a 06 gt auto...
so wat im asking is what n/a stuff would i do in my mind motion plates, cai and tuner, 4.10 gears, udp's, headers and mid pipe ( already have slp lms)

i also dont know wat brands i want for udp's and motion plates.. so any ideas on n/a set up im all ears this is excluding brakes and suspension(for now)

estimate prices would be great to know..

Sorry bro, I have no advise. You got a new mustang gt for your first car and now looking for a supercharger. You need to put down your computer and go tell your father over and over that he is the best dad in the world. Also is he intrested in adopting 25 year old.

I'm sure someone else will have the answer to your question. Just know that you are lucky to be on your fathers call. Because this huge sum of money you think he wouldn't have ever made without you doesn't exist. He has provided you a life, home, career path, and a great car. What a prick! Until you appreciate what you have, you'll never know what you could have.

Then for real if you can afford it, and I know you can go with a Kenne Bell supercharger. I'm saving up for one myself. Go to your local speed shop and ask them to price out a KB SC set up and 410's. If it is under 6 grand then go that route. The Whipple and Roush will keep your warranty, but a KBell will desamate all. 480 to 500 horse are exteremly in your future. Also, get some wicked tires. Some Mickey Thompson 275/40/17 and some upper and lower control arms and your set. Good luck kid, and congrat on your car. You made the right choice!

If you want a roaring motherfucker then put long tube headers, off-road X-pipe, and slp lm's. If you want the combo than do all that, and a Kenne Bell S/C. If you don't like the position of the CAI then put a plastic guard on, and just take out your head light when you race. You will get all the intake you can stand. If you go with the Whipple, Roush, or a procharger you will spend just as much but get less. This isn't a commercial, this is my opinion.

A full bolt on car (no internal engine work) is going to run you about $2000.00 plus install.

Unless you get in the internals then your not going to make near the power a charger will give you. Go with heads, cams, stroker kit plus all bolt ons and youll have a nice n/a ride.

there's a lot of work you'll need to do to get the 400rwhp that you're looking for. i'm pretty sure it will be pretty pricey if you can't install everything yourself. i'm guessing in the area of 4-5 g's depending on how far you really want to go n/a. the whipple will probably run you close to 7g's after install and custom tune. if you are able to do most of the work yourself with the n/a stuff then you're looking at much less for that way.

the udp's and plates you can get from steeda. i wouldn't really go to steeda to get them, but that's the brand. as for everything else to go n/a you will probably get all the bolt-on's and also have to do heads and cams to get the 400+ hp.

damn that ho whipple looks amazing.. kennebell just doesnt do it for me maverick points out alot why its not so great... and i think psycho bob ur n/a guess of 4-5gs may be off by a couple.. to get equal power to 475rwhp from the whipple ho kit.. i mean that whipple n install is like 7gs as u said but to get 475rwhp for 4-5gs i dont think is possible..

dude unless you're plannin on installing a stroker kit you can kiss your motor good bye trying 475 rwhp. 400-430 rwhp is all these motors can take before they go boom. but if you stroke her 600 rwhp is just a pulley and a tune away with the KB blower.

dont let anyone on here steer you away from the whipple, 9 out of 10 times the whipple does better than the kenne bell on these new s197 mustangs, the tuner I use absolutely loves them!

Comes with the best fuel system, pre gapped spark plugs, good intercooler system, ect. Very high quality kit! I was going to get one but since I have a shaker hood it would not do so I got the next best, Hellion!

I dont think you will be able to reach 400rwhp with just bolt ons, now if you did every bolt on out there, then yea you will get it or atleast close. You would be much better off with a supercharger though!

Just for a price guestimate, to buy the whole whipple kit, have it installed professionally and tuned professionally along with taxes and handling... it will cost you right at 8 grand, with the tuner I use
