The motor can be had for less than half that. There's a forum hopper Greg 1320 in the midst of converting an 05 v6 to a bad to the bone cobra.

He's on several forums modular ford, svt performance, and stangnet. Here's a link to his project as it is being built. He's moving fast as you will notice from the start date of the project to now. It's a good read, but even better is the fact that he got the GT500 powerplant for $15,000 blower and all.

I would take a 460Ci and throw a SC on it and have more Hp then a 5.4SC

Dude. Couple of changes and you're blasting 800 horse outta that 5.4. Toss a nice twin turbo on that bad boy, and you're choking back 1200 horsepower. Stick that in your 460 and smoke it. LoL

Yes. Im serious now. I can trade out my 07 GT engine modular for a GT500 engine(ill pay several K more...but you see where im going). IM not sure if those here know, but the modular V8 is not cheap. I think I could pull 6K for my 4.6 with only 2K miles on it. I can then spend maybe 9K for the 5.4 ? Not sure

That 514 would be a great base. For 8100 over 36k
