Stock ignition key

what do you think of the stock ignition key?
[ignition key image]

[/ignition key image] click here if you can't see image above.

i voted lame. with all the nice touches in the new mustang, it just seems fitting to have given something better than the ho-hum we got.

a pony key would have been cool.

[ediit for grammar]

What do I think? I think that things must be pretty slow around your place if you're spending any time thinking about the appearance of your ignition key

Let's put a twist on this subject... would you install the push button start on your Stang? I saw one that installs in the power point in the middle of the dash. Looks cool but I could spend that $100 on performance.

Your thoughts?

i'm glad the buttons are not on the key personally. i keep my remote on a separate chain. i would love to shave the handles and put door poppers in.

push button start? nah put it towards [insert power adder].

do i smell someone's glue gun?

If you replace the middle power point on the dash with a push button start, where will you plug your radar detector in at? I think I would rather have the radar detector than a button that does the same thing my key does ( which is a foot and a half away from the button ). But they do make covers for the keys... You can get GT, Shelby, Pony, Ect... slip covers for the base of the key.

If you're going to get the ignition button, why not hide it in the arm rest console? Hell, I didn't even realize there was a power point in there for the first month I had the car...
