I'm going to race against a buddies LS1 Camaro automatic. His moddes are Torque Converter, long-tube headers, o/r y-pipe, and dyno tune. Mine are C&L Racer CAI, BBK t-body, Motoblue spacer, Motive 410's, o/r x-pipe, SLP Loudmouths, and custom 93 tune. I dynoed at 312hp and 327Tq. What do you guys think?

If this makes you feel any better, I killed the same car with my manual 07 with only CAI and 3.55's. WHen I say killed, I mean it. 7-8 cars at about 1/4 mile

The 2002 LS1 Z28 has 310 horsepower. Stock. The car also weighs about 200 lbs less than an 05+ GT. So given his mods against your mods, his car is probably a couple tenths quicker, but it will come down to the driver. If you smoke him, it's only because you were a better driver than him.

Mines manual too. I thought I could kill him too, but he seems so confident. I trust that he is not lying about his modds. I ran 8.08 1/8 mile before I got my Nitto 555R's and 410's. I think it will be hard for him to catch me after I take him by a second at 60ft.

Yea. I rock. Its all driver. I shift like the terminator himself. If you can shift, you can beat cars you can only dream of. After some time, you can feel the car and not even think about it. I ran bone stock 1/4 mile in my 07 at 13.2. That is not easy..

Yeah cool, TD. It's fun smoking faster cars by out driving them, I think that's more fun than just having a faster car.

yes, sticky ones. It is still hard bone stock. I bet on a cooler day I could have done a 13.1. Im sporting a couple of mods and Im due to try again. I WILL BE IN 12's. DRIVER IS EVERYTHING

Just got off the phone with my buddy. He confessed to all of his modds. He puttin down 350HP. So I'm out.

T-body, pullies, Cai, front to back exhaust, torque converter. Also some other bolt ons that I can't remember. After he said that dyno was 349HP and 351Tq I knew I was out.
