First off I saw another thread like this one, I did not want to jack his thread. My question, I am looking at rims and putting some stripes on. I have my rims down to either chrome, grey or black. I have my stripes down to white, black or a charcoal grey. I have no clue what to choose. I think black rims look hot on a car, not sure how they would look with my Windveil Blue. I was thinking of black stripes and the black rims, not real sure how that would look. I would love to hear some opinions on what would look good. Some pics of the same color car would be great. Thanks.

if it was me i would go w/ white stripes on the windveil blue...and i would def go chrome on that or even a polished look. either way you cant go wrong!!!

+1 i like the white stripe on blue setup.

if u really want black rims, i think black stripes would look best. But that whole setup looks a little dull to me, but thats just my opnion.

I like the white stripe also. I have seen 4 in my town with same color with the white stripe and chrome rims. They look hot, just want to be different. I was also thinking of a grey stripe and grey rims, but damn I love those black rims.

if you go black rims then black stripes would look best and charcoal next best. I think white stripes means chrome or polished rims. i remember seeing one that color with the polished 18" fan blades like I have that looked good it had white stripes. It sounds like you want more of a custom rim though.

GTNorm, I am looking for a more custom look. The other stangs around here that have the white stripes have the polished deep dish rims and look sweet. I would really like to get the Foose Nitrous rims, but can't afford them. I might wait until I can. I have been lookin at the Shelby Razors and those pictured above in a deep dish rim.

Black stripes seem too strong a contrast with chrome rims.
Try:
Satin silver 3 stripes with the chrome rims or:
Black 3 Stripes
Rouge 18" rims
GTR ram air hood scoop
Steeda street wing
Street scene side skirts
Lamp splitters & projectors
Chin spoiler
Pillar scoops
Gen 2 front fascia
Tinted lens covers for the fog lamps
Color mirror covers
Smoke tail light covers
CDC trim panel w/t the GT emblem
Street scene GT rear lip
Lower it 1 1/2"
and add a Kenne Bell or Whipple S/C
For the inside a garbage bag and a box of tissue paper.

I think they look fine as long as the top is down. Looks a little odd for me when the top is up. IMO

Beleive it or not, it was her idea to get the Stang for me. The Main agreement that we have is that what I spend on my stuff, I set aside the same for her. I just don't make that much!!!! Good thing is that I have sold all my toys and the Stang is the only thing left. Downside is that I have money saved for upgrades, but I need to buy a winter beater. Snow + Stang = Bad Things LOL

I spend 30k for a car she wants 170k + for a home.

no matter what you choose for stripe color just make sure you get the WIDE. none of those wimpy 8 inchers. go for at least 10" but preferably 12". that is of course just my opinion.

I was looking at the wider ones. I was also thinking of that california hood. I really like the looks of that. I think the slots on it are 12".

Darwin...it's funny you mention the s/c and the pool....That was basically the deal I made with my wife...got my s/c mustang and she got her pool. She is currently up on me by about 15K and believe me that maintenance on the pool is way more than on the car.
