C&L Intake Plus a Classic Shaker install

Hello All
I have a 2007 Mustang GT With a Classic Shaker on it and I am concedering cai on it. Has anyone installed a setup like this on there 2007 GT? Is C&L the only option to adapt onto my Shacker? My Shaker is cool looking so I don't want to alter it at all.
I called C&L today and they don't real have a cai that is made for my stang but they think I can drill into it and make it work.
What do you guys think?
Gary

there is zero point, even the morons who try to talk trash about my non functional shaker are only showing their ignorance. The cai is enough, the shaker adds virtually no power, the shaker you have is a cai - all you may want is a higher flow filter. many think the shaker scoop adds power... it doesnt and on the 99-04 (my case) it really flows like balls. but anyway if your shaker is functional there is no further gain to be had... get a gear or something exahust wise

C&L would work, and you could always modify it.. it's plastic for crying outloud.

yes you can slap on a C&L intake to a shaker scoop system or virtually any CAI. the power is going to come from the CAI, not the shaker, the shaker does nothing for power, its all appearance

Hey man, Allthough I have to agree with the fact the the shaker scoop is just for looks, I want to show you some pictures of a couple guys who have done it what your wanting to do. This way, you can get an idea of what to do and how it will look. To me its not worth the effort, and clutters the engine compartment with no benifit to speak of performance wise.

But you must do what YOU want to do, my opinion does not matter as I'm sure your aware. You want the best of both worlds, performance & good looks. Nobody can argue that and I hope this helps you "git er done"

Best of luck sir
