Back from the track...

OK, heres the results

1st run - 14.090 @ 101.58 mph / traction control off, dryhop with water

2nd run - 14.050 @ 102.45 mph / traction control off, dryhop without water

I guess this isnt too bad, considering the car is only 4 months old with 2800 miles on it. I didnt exactly want to destroy it. I left the line at just over 2000 rpm. I will be going back again...

Some good after market lower control arms will help with that wheel hop. Nice runs.

Don't go in the water with street tires...that's an accident just waiting to happen. You're taking water to the track and the guys with slicks won't like that very much. You can get those times way down with practice. Just keep going back and having fun. My track finally opens on 19 May...Can't wait.

Nice runs for little seat time at the track. I have owned my car 3 1/2 years and it has 7300 miles. Many of those miles were 1/4 at a time.

I went to the track tonight as well. It was Pro stock night and was very busy since there had been 2 previous rainouts. 5 runs, best time 12.7 @108. Recent rains made it very humid. Density adjustment 2,898 feet = corrected of time - 12.29 @ 110.95
