I was wondering if I can remove the center air vent cluster on my own. Or should I have the dealer do this. I have the center peice signed by Carroll Shelby. And Idont want to break my dash
Thanks,
Cameron

Can't find the PDF right now...still looking. But I know it just pulls off. It's only held in place with clips.

Can't see them, they're behind the pannel. You just pull straight back and it pops out. Just like the instrument cluster. Look at the third post here:

Yep, my bad. Sorry for the mix-up.

PULL the main instrument bezel out, no screws.
Open console lid, and remove 2 screws by the trailing edge. Pull the shifter boot off, push it fwd, and it will pop. Just lift it up. Lift the console from the rear, it pulls right off. Open the glove box, and squeeze the stops to allow it to fall all the way. Unplug the pass airbag, and remove 2 bolts. The airbag pushes right out; you need to reach behind to unclip the surrounding trim clips. Now you can remove the 6 screws holding the center section.

This looks so not worth it...
