Well my dad(1loudgt), John(03rcode) and I cruised out to this dyno day thing that Vmptuning and central Florida motor sports was holding.

Well my dad got his car dynoed and payed to af the air to fuel played with.

My question is if these cars baseline 265 rwhp how come my dad's gt made only 275 at the wheels?

It has:

x-pipe
flowmasters
cold air intake
u/d pulleys
tune...

but could it be the dreaded 62 mm twin throttle body thats on the car?

I don't know much about dynos but with all that I expected more then a 10 rwhp gain.

The first three should hardly make a difference. Now I'd think the last two should account for a nice number. But fact is every dyno is setup different and the only way to truely find out a cars hp is on the 1/4 mile. The dyno is a tool to measure gains from mods more than a way to find out true hp. Though I would say go and get a new TB anyway.
