Tuner Question/Help.

I have been wanting to buy a Diablosport Predator or SCT tuner, but go figure they are harder to come by here in Canada.
I have easy access however to a Superchips or Hypertech tuner. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with these tuners, and would like your opinions on them.

Have you checked with Doug from Bamachips if he ships to canada? Maybe he does, i couldnt find that info on the web site. He charges $10 flat for shipping but you might be able to work something out. I got my SCT Xcal 2 from him and it was an awesome tune. Just my 2c worth..

yes highly recommend Doug @ Bamachips, he uses SCT. not to be confused with Hypertech or Superchips, two totally different concepts. you best bang for the buck is the SCT/CAI combo from Doug @ bamachips!

actually he gives you free shipping if you buy the tuner from him and yes he does ship to canada, there are plenty of canadians with his tunes and love them!

I already have an Air Raid CAI on the way, so now I just need a decent tuner as well.

be patient with him, he is a one man shop and he will get back to you shortly, but his tunes are well worth the wait!!

I just hope the Airaid works good with his stuff. Go figure I ordered the CAI yesterday, and here he has some nice combos. Ah well.

oh it does, trust me, my friend has it for his airaid and he can get that smiling grin off his face. the tune does wonders for this car.

I had my CAI put in and some other mods before i got the Tunes from Doug also. I have the S&B cold air intake and his tune did wonders.

Just got off the phone with bamachips & ordered an SCT tuner with Doug's custom tunes. I can't wait to try this thing out.

Thanks for the help selecting Bama, guys, I can see why this man comes highly recommended. Every company should conduct their business this well. You can't beat the price either. Even with the exchange rate on my Canuck buck, I'm coming in hundreds of dollars cheaper than what I would have to pay up here.

I also just finished installing my Airaid, and also got the car back from the exhaust shop. I had a pair of MBRP's installed. Love the sound from these, they are nice and throaty, but not too loud, with no drone for my long-assed highway commutes.

I should problably ask since I'm getting the C&L Racer/SCT Xcal2 Livewire combo from Bama. Can I excpet the same gains with a auto as a manual would? And whats this I hear about a new Diablo/SCT tuner coming out soon, I wonder if its worth it to wait?

Auto???? oh man your in for the ride of your life!! Your auto aint gonna feel like an auto anymore, its gonna feel like a S/C!! Holy cow the shift points on the tune are amazing!!

Because you are auto you will feel much more improved shifts and you will feel a power difference!

Sweet Maverick thats what i like to hear, good to know thanks much!

I know I know I tried to return it to the dealer for a manual, he talked me into it.

You know though Im surprised with the auto. If im doing say 45 and floor it it'll red line it for a good 1 1/2 - 2 seconds. isnt that bad shifting for the computer?
