What have you done?!? To your car, silly.

I'm curious to see what everyone has done to their cars. I know we see here and there in different threads what people have done, and most threads are specific, like about an exhaust, or a CAI, or S/C, etc.

So let's have one where you can post everything you have done to your car, everything you are doing to it now, and everything you plan to do as well. Pics are cool as well.

I'll kick things off.

In the past month to prepare for the All Ford NAtionals in Carlisle PA, I have:

~Just installed hood pins. (thread here in this section on it)
~Just had the undercoating removed from entire car. (thread here as well)
~Clay barred the car. 1 coat of Gold Class. 2 coats of Ice.
~Had the car professionally buffed & glazed.
~Took the wheels off and removed the undercoating, overspray, and tar off. This was a tedious job, and had to actually use pure turpentine on the inner rim to get the bulk off. For you polishers out there, try a product called Wheel Wax. It polishes & waxes your wheels in one step, and looks amazing.
~Still finishing off the little details of my 5 thousand dollar stereo. Trim, a few bugs here and there, etc. 2 Alpine Type-X 10's, 2x8" Pioneer subs, 2x6'5" Fosgate FNQ midbass & tweets, 2100 watts of Clarion power, and a 10 farad capacitor, & Sirius satellite radio.
~Installed smoked front signal lenses.
~Shorty antenna.
~Steeda pedals.
~Going in this Friday for MBRP exhaust. Cat back & X-pipe. X-pipe on order, may not be in time for Carlisle. Ah well.
~Ordered Airaid CAI. Should be here Tuesday, will be going on Friday when I get home off the road.
~Ordered SCT tuner from Bamachips. Probably also not landing in time for Carlisle.

Keep in mind I'm only home 2 days a week, so it's been a busy few weekends. lol

four and 3/4 more years and I can mod my car... I think I'm gonna buy a used car and mod it for track rather than wait...

What do you think of the glaze treatment that you had put on your car? What exactly does it do to protect the car? Been thinking of getting my GT500 glazed, but don't know enough about it... Does it have to be re-glazed every year?

Thanks.

How do you like that Roush short throw shifter? I'm thinking about making that one of my first mods... Have you been able to try any of the other shifters out there to compare it to? Just wanna make sure I get the best in that price range :-D
