What does it take to beat an evo?


Any of you guys taken an evo before? If so what are you running..

ive beaten a couple and i have full exhuast. its a drivers race

Yea, I smoked one a couple of weeks ago from a rolling start and just buried the guy. They are tough to beat out of the hole because they are all wheel drive. If you can stay close out of the hole, you can pull away once you hit third gear.

I'm in a lowered '06 GT running a CAI, 4:10 gears, (running 3:55s when I raced the EVO) flowmasters, Brenspeed 93 octane tune, Steeda UDPs and a Hurst short throw shifter.
