Door Protection?

Anyone have any good ideas on how to protect the outer edge of the doors on a stang? I've seen the black plastic U channel thingy's, in fact I have them on my Explorer but I really think they'd look hokey on my Mustang. Anyone have any success with anything else. My garage is kinda narrow and I'm afraid I'm gonna ding the door on the wall one of these days but I want to preserve the good looks of the car to. Help?

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I've got a very narrow garage and it's a bit scary every night when I park in it. Instead of modifying your car to avoid a scratch, hang some foam padding on your wall where you won't have to worry about banging into the wall. just my $.02
