mac l/t headers


is it ture that the mac l/t are relly mid-length headers or not?

i've honestly never heard that, but i don't have headers yet (just done some research because i plan on it in the near future)...

yep they are called longtubes but are actually a mid length header

really? hmmm...why doe everybody rave about them then? what would the diff be between them and real LTs (BBK)?

but these are for the 2005+ Mustangs. I see that you have an '02, in which case the Mac headers are true LTs.

ok so, if i get the MAC "LT" for my 02 GT....do i still need to get a shorty midpipe?

According to what Redfire said, for the 02 the Mac's are true longtubes. So yes

+1 for the prochamber....i am not running the prochamber...i have just a off road x pipe that brenspeed put together for me...cause mac doesnt make one for there long tubes..besides the prochamber....

i can get a sound clip of my exhaust if you want to hear it...

I also have the MAC L/Ts with prochamber. Love the sound.
