man are you goin to get alot of varying opinions on this one. from what i hear there isn't much to gain from them and some tbs will give you throttle problems. i have the bbk and couldent tell you if it helped or not so i would save the money and put it towards something else.

I picked up about .1 seconds int the 1/4 with mine, same temps, one week later, same air density, with a tuine you might might might could swueeze 10-15 hp with supporting mods.
Mav will tell you not to buy it, he is 100% against them. I am for them. Once you get yours calibrated to your car, its smooth sailing from there. I sold my billet one, cause i got offered more than I paid for it, so once i get my intake and retune, im ggetting another bbk...

Thanks guys...I am talking about an actual throttle body...not a spacer...I have a helix power tower...last a day with it on and couldint stand the whistle. So I can pick up about 10 horse with a aftermarket throttle body huh?

can somebody show me what a plenum is on the 3V 4.6! I believe that all you have is a TB and then an intake manifold since your TB is front mount! Thanks

Nevermind! You just said that it was an intake manifold and not a plenum thanks!

Dumps is right, your gonna get both ends of the spectrum on this topic. Personally I had great success with my BBK. Gains were 3/10ths in a 1/4 mile and you cant beat how easy the install is. I never had to make any adjustments with mine and I'm positive when coupled with a progrmmer its just that much more of a gain.

He's right. With air intake mods that deal strictly with allowing more into the intake the gains are exponential and increase performance as demand increases, mainly at high R's and with any forced induction of cam/head upgrades. You could still throw on a BBK (way better buy than the OVERpriced Granatelli's) as you upgrade.
