12.6 with no power adders or internal engine modifications

I have a 2007 GT that I have been working on for the past few months. Last weekend I took it to the track and ran 12.6 at 106 mph. The 60' time was 1.74. I do not have any power adders, and I have not made any internal engine modifications. It is a 5 speed with 3.90 gears. I have Kooks long tube headers and a Pypes x pipe. I personally like the sound quality of the stock mufflers so I have not changed them. I removed the fuel tank and installed a custom fabricated aluminum fuel cell. I replaced all the rear suspension with fully adjustable solid rod end BMR parts. The drive shaft is aluminum. The rear wheels are 15" Bogarts with Mickey Thompson E/T street drag tires. Up front I have 17" x 5.5" Welds. I was very pleased with how well the car launched. I was dropping the clutch at about 5000 rpm and I was getting no wheel spin. It was the first time that I took this car to the track, so I was fairly conservative with my shifting. My next order of business is to have the car dyno tuned. I was running 110 octane with a tune from RPM outlet. The mph was slower than I think it should have been. I feel that with a dyno tune, perfect shifting, and a perfect launch that the car will run 12.4. I will keep everyone updated as I play with the car more.

NICE man!!! Post up some pics of it. I would like to see it with that wheel combo, sounds pretty sweet.
