2 more psi ?
I have a roush s/c in my 2006 vert stang right now. I told our local ford dealer that I wanted more power. He suggested a smaller pulley for the s/c that would give me another 2psi. Does anybody know about how more HP that would give me?

Thats awsome rondaw3g0410! Did you have the smaller pulley put in after you had the S/C installed or was it done all at the same time? If you had the pulley installed after could really feel the difference?

watch for belt slip on that new pulley wally, my buddy with an 06 roush did the same, and his belt would not quit slipping...I think they finally got it fixed, but I left before they told me the problem...

According to the Roush site the pulley adds 15 Hp. That sounds a little on the conservative side. Let me know how it goes if you do it, it's on my list. I'm wondering if it voids the warranty?

yes, voids warranty from what I was told, because you ahve to send in your cpu to roush and have them reprogram it, therefore, they void your warranty since they saw it come in. I would check to see if you can just get the pulley by itself, and then have a great tuning shop make a better tune....

Then what can I do to get more power without spending a ton of money? I'm already at about 420hp, I would love to get to almost 500hp. At this moment from what I've read in this forum for the past 6months, I'm regreting getting a roush s/c. I should have gone with a procharger or kennel bell.

Ya that would work lol. I mean something that is more perminent. Anyways II hear that NOS is not good for the motor when you already have a s/c.
