Some feedback please

I am keepng my car N/A...for now anyway, its a daily driver nad my wife drives it alot. Anyway I would like to hear form all the guys on here that are N/A and what kind of power you are putting to the ground. I just want to get a guess as to how much I can squeeze out of this modular engine. Reliability is a BIG key for me! I would like to get as close to 500 hp if possible.....is it? Anyone here making that kind of power N/A. I am contenplating Nitrous as well but only as a last resort....I love MODS!!!

Thanks for any help guys.

before I pulled the trigger on a s/c putting down 475, close to 500; i ran a C&L intake, SCT tune, Underdrive pullies and an axleback exhaust. I was pushing 325RWHP and about 335-340RWTQ. to me it was a hell of a difference over stock and the car felt great. it was great when my car was a daily driver. later on some companies came out with the charge motion plates, coil on connectors, cams and much more to add close to 10-15 horses per part, and of course exhaust if you decide to get longtube headers, that would put down another 15 horses. there really is no way your going to reach 400 or even 500 N/A, maybe 365 is the most Ive seen! you be the first that I know of if you could bolt on just about any NON nitrous or s/c related part to get close to the number you want. then again look at the Saleen Parelli Jones edition mustang. see if you can dig some info out of that vehicle that is 400HP N/A, unless for some reason they've done a lot of engine work (heads, cams, valves, etc.)

nitrous and supercharger/turbochargers are your only means of resort of the power levels you are looking for on the new mustang

You can EASILY hit 400rwhp in our cars if you do CNC ported (or fucking brand new if you want to drop more $) heads with a decent valve train, and bigger lift cams, an CAI, full exhaust, probably with bigger injectors, and a tune. If you want to get crazy do a forged rotating assembly and drop the rev limiter (you could even raise the limiter after the cam and valve train were done) and fucking you could SAFELY put 425-450rwhp to the street. There's always great mods like aluminum driveshafts and flywheels and light weight clutches that will really boost acceleration and drop accessory drag freeing up great HP.

Just remember once you get up around 500 rwhp you should start thinking about upgrading the bottom end of your engine.
