Driver and guest side airbag data

Does anyone have any insurance rating data for the 2007 GT for side impact with regards to the side airbags ? I wish to see the data and see just where the heck the bags are located for im soon to be removing the inside panels and wish not to get killed by the side bags going off. thanks

I don't know much about the insurace question but Ford puts either "airbag"

or "SRS" (safety restraint system)
right where the air bag is on all their cars.

On the center steering wheel ? How can that be a side airbag for the driver ? And/or the side passenger dash for their side bag. I'm asking about a side airbag; not front

when did i endanger your life?

I gave you basic information.
I never said "put the screwdriver here and pull"
or anything of the sort.

I merely stated the ford puts "srs" next to there airbags and if you wanted to know where is was then look for it.

it looks like you won't get killed after all....

the side air bags for ALL cars are either located in either the seat or the roof line so the door wouldn't have been a problem in the first place.

And please don't tell me what to reply and what not to reply to.

You asked a question. not me.

like I said.... all Fords have "srs" or "airbag" where the air bag should be...
has been that way since they introuduced airbags.

it looks like I gave correct information considering it was proven by a 05+ member.
so I guess it wasn't so worthless now was it?

I offered an answer to your question and you decided to toss it back into my face with this:

"PLEASE, do me a fav and dont reply to a post with info from your 2001(HMUSN) mustang."

do you think I went out to my car and looked for an SRS tag on my seat?
do you think I base my information off of MY car alone?

I knew I was right.
I merely double checked my information so I gave you a correct answer.

you talk like my 01 mustang is inferior to your 07.
or the fact that I have an 01GT means I don't know shit about 05+ GTs

I beg to differ.

next time you want to post a question make sure to put in your post

"please only people that own 05 plus mustang answer"

and the reason I am "popping an attitude is because you replied with a smart ass answer when someone was trying to help you in the first place.

and don't EVER think your car is superior to a 99-04 GT.
it doesn't take much to walk a car that weighs as much as your does.

t-dog for added insurence also disconnect the battery before doing any work that will insure nothing blows in you face (if you are in dought) but always a good idea when working on anything on the car

any when you do disconnect the battery make sure to leave it disconnected for about 30 mins before you start electrical work. Disconnecting the battery doesn't necessarily deactivate the air bag because the control module often contains an internal battery that keeps the system armed for up to several minutes. This is actually a safety feature that allows the air bag to work in case the battery cables are severed during a crash.

Make no mistake, 2001's are great. That was reading between lines that didn't exist. A 2007 is only superior to a 2001 in resale and HP!
Peace !
I still am quite shocked that the airbags are in the seat. I guess this could create an issue if I get some leather wrapped seats for my cloth.

If your car came with the side air bags (mine was an option) there are a couple companies that sell the take off seat covers with the side air bag design. They are FORD factory parts and all I've seen was black though.
