Premium Edition

Hello fellow Mustang folks. New to the forum. Have recently bought my latest pony an 09 GT Premium. Does anyone know exactly what the premium package is ? Purely interior trim accents ? or is it something more ? Ive searched the web and this forum with no luck.

Premium wasn't a package so much as a trim level. I don't know the S197s all that intimately so I'm sure someone will give you a more exhaustive list, but it was basically things like leather seats, nav computer, the changable backlight color on gauges (myColor, I think it's called), etc.

Premium Interior Package (18G) - Includes bright shift knob, Dark Charcoal door panels, leather wrapped wheel, message center, polished instrument gauge cluster, satin steering wheel spokes, door latches, scuff plates and vent covers

^this is wrong. most of what you just posted is included in the interior upgrade package(IUP). premium is basically leather, wrap'd steering wheel, and power seats. Most of the trim and message center is in the IUP.

their all wrong, it just means you get tires, wheels, doors, seats, steering wheels, possibly an engine. you know all the bells and whistles you don't normally get in other mustangs....welcome to the forum

Mine has the 18G and whatever the package that comes with the red seats and door inserts. (Which I LOVE)

haha i know what your saying, and yes what was just posted confirmed what he posted. I don't see how there is confusion, the guy asked what does a premium mustang come with. then there was a post about that being wrong, that most of the stuff is in the interior upgrade package...IUP. well when that guy asked how he was wrong, what is the first thing that it says on the post, after what was wrong. INTERIOR UPGRADE PACKAGE!!!!
