Exactly. Im at 8-9psi also making what my sig says. With heads and cams, I should be over 500 also. No need to turn the boost up when you can do other things to reach 500+

Running a centri @ 13psi Considering the nature of the blower u wont have any fun if you are not winding it up or wiill u be using it to its full potential.I agree a car can make 600rwhp but like previously stated it will be like making the cut, durability is the problem.

I think it is silly that a bunch of NA LSx guys would talk shit to someone boosted in Colorado elevations. You need to whip that guys ass bad. JMHO And for you Whipple guys, I love em. I am getting 23 lbs of boost from my 4.0 Liter. 1100 ft lbs of torque at 2500 rpm seems to make the world look different. More of my car is ford now than GM

LoL thanks guys, it has a 4.0 Liter Whipple on top of a 408 stroker, cammed with ETP 245 heads, custom FI grind cam, ID2000 injectors capping off an A1000 driven return fuel system running on E85. Channels that all through a stage 5 T56 and 9 inch Ford IRS running 315's in the back right now, going to 325s soon. The build is waiting on a ten point cage and to finish of the fire suppression system. Only spraying a 50 shot for now and it is putting down 969/1111 to the wheels. The motor was built by TSP and is only good to 1500 so we are building a 440 for it. Haven't had it to the track yet, still dealing with nickel and dime issues to get it right. Don't plan on a hood until we get the LSx in and can go to a 5.0 Liter with a bug catcher on top. Pretty much everything is custom fabbed including the intake and the cog drive that separates the blower from the belt. With the cog drive, she sits on 23 lbs of boost and holds it until I chicken out. On the other hand, I have never had it WOT . We've got about 2,000 miles on this setup still dialing it in. The A1000 pump can't keep up so I am limited at the top. There is a ton more, if you are interested I will put a garage entry in. OP sorry for the hijack.

Here is a few dyno shots

I was serious about NA guys shit talking boosted cars at altitude though

Don't want to sound like a prude here, I am certainly no angel. If chit is really as thick as you are describing you should get them to a track day. Playing on the street is something that is bad and I do it, hell there are a thousand videos of me doing it out there. Crowds getting together with grudges and angry are simply beyond dangerous. I don't do that and never have. By the top of third I know if I could win or not and that is all that really counts because if the other guy doesn't know it by then he shouldn't be playing. That's just my opinion but you get some guy that shit talks himself into a corner then he can become very stupid. You don't need that. Either ambush em 1 on 1 or meet them at a track. Be safe and have fun.

Yea my tuner chickened out, he hit the spray once and everyone ran, he was stuck in the car and the torque nearly ripped the dyno out of the floor. So we've only had the balls to hit the spray one time.

I had a cam only WS6 with stock ls6 intake, full exhaust, cai, throttle body, that made 423rwhp. I can easily see a well built LS2 make that kind of power. I hate to say it but I'm honestly leaning more towards the goat unless you absolutely rape him at the launch.

it is the "other guys" that are "cocky" or whatever.. people are people... there was a guy last summer with a ls2 and a 150 shot and on my mid tune we were both around 11.5 to .7.. it was just a drivers race... I never had more fun racing than knowing we were pretty even... he came to the strip with the GM crowd and I came with the mustang crowd... we always got along great... don't fall for bullshit and just have fun and be safe
