got called out by quite a bit of ls1's and an ls2gto.
I was just comenting on my buddies 99 camaro ss on facebook. And its a nice car. So i told him when the track opens up if he wanted to race. He said no cuz the procharger was too much for him lol. So hes in this car club all ls cars and guys just started talking if i wanted to run him instead at the track but after he told me what was done to the car. H/c/i full bolt ons and nitrous i kinda didnt want to anymore lol. So i told him il run him off the bottle. So They started ganging up on me telling me i have a power adder they do to its an even race? So im gunna run him this summer when it opens up with and without the bottle. And a ls2 gto h/c/i full bolt ons claims just over 500 rwhp. What do u guys think my chances ar? Im gunna be goin with a smaller pulley for 12psi at 6000 rpm. And cmdps. Keep in mind this is gunna be at a track. Everybody running slicks.

I dont know about that 500+whp from h/c/i unless he is counting the spray too.
Arent GTOs heavy? That would work in your favor if he is heavier than you. Oh and run him on like 1/4 tank. I always see people trying for a personal best, on a full tank. That extra 8-10 gallons weighs a lot. Lose it.

Thats a toughy.... Camaro on spray will be a difficult one, Unsure on the gto but I call BS on the 500rwhp unless he means spray. And that one will be tough as well.

do they have gears also? cause your lighter and have 4:10s. that along with the pully swap and you should have a pretty good shot at winning against the gto. all in all, it sounds like its going to be a drivers race

Sorry man im at work i was just trying to write it up quick. The camaro ss is h/c/i full bolt ond plus nitrous. The gto is all motor no juice so he says. I know im gunna loose to the camaro on the bottle but i feel good about the gto

gto's are kinda heavy and they also have the irs that won't help at the track. personally have no idea what those cars will make with this or that mods

I swear I remember watching a GTO running 12.9s on nothing but a reflash and drag radials, waaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in the day. Like when they first came out.
What are you running now? I gotta think faster than 12.998 with the power you have.

Yea with these new mods im doin im guessing il be around 530rwhp. I know the camaro is running 4.10s with a upgraded torque converter. Gto is geared too but im not sure if its stick or auto.

Auto with a TQ converter is gonna be a big advantage to him over your manual, I think.

Yea man my best is 12.77 without slick on my nitto 555's and thats spinning bad in 1st and 2nd. but im also at 5500 ft above sea level in denver. My buddies 700 hp saleen runs 11.7. And my other friend has a gt500 with the kenne bell 2.8 running 11.5 and hes at 700 rwhp.

i think you got it. close with the camaro, the gto i doubt has 500 and they are heavy. let us know! everyone talks shit about mustangs....80% of those people probably get beat by them and say they know someone who will fuck that stang up! my reply is ok well why didnt you buy their car instead of yours! run them have fun and beat their ass!

if i don't quit first i'll be there in july for 2-3 weeks. would love to get to the track while i'm there. i haven't gotten to run yet since moving to CO. last time was in texas and i was running 12.8_ with a cai, tune, and ET Streets.

this is cam and longtube only 426 rwhp
cam and intake on this one 445rwhp so I think a h/c/i ls2 gto can get to that 500 he is claiming. I could be wrong but i think he is being honest with you about his numbers.

My buddies automatic LS2 GTO with full exhaust, intake and tune is running 12.5@112 1.9x 60' on street tires so take that for what its worth

Well you know those ls1 guys there the best drivers in the world and they have the fastest cars too lol. But yea its not goin down till may or june but il get video and mabe il see u thete sum time bob.
