I think just about all exhaust sound good on mustangs, alot of mach1 owners swear by MRT mid pipes... but my vote will always go with Borla or magnaflow...

I don't really have a favorite...I was just wanting a quality A/M axle-back that was deeper and throatier than the stock mufflers. The Macs do sound good, but the cabin drone is obnoxious to me. I put the stocks back on til I find something else without the drone...

Flowmasters were great when I had them, but after a while I heard the SLPs and I fell in love with them. so I pulled the flows and put on the SLPs. there was barely any drone with the flowmasters and the sound was great, the drone was there with the Flomasters, but it wasnt REALLY bad, on a scale of 1-10 drone 10 being the worst I'd give the Flowmasters a 3! SLPs there is drone, but not as bad a borla or MACs. another kit that droned bad was Magnaflow.

the only known kit to not have ANY drone is Corsa's and they sound great in person as well!!

I have had Flow-Tech axleback (Jegs.com) for a year now. There are a little louder than stock with a drone rating of 1 - virtually none. Have gotten many complements on the sound - especially since I got the BBK tuned-length (shorty) headers. H-pipe is stock catted. The overall quality of the product isn't that great fitment-wise. You can see pics at my page

I am curious to see if anyone has feedback on the Edelbrock system.

i got bassani ss axle backs with a catted x on mine and they droned A LOT when they were new. but after they were on the car for about a week a lot of it went away. They drone a little bit at like 3000 rpm. but thats it. heres a link to my exhaust vid.
