I really think thats the main problem. It wasnt so bad at 30 or even 50 thousand miles.

May as well upgrade

If you REALLY want a nice suspension, Bilstein makes their yellow dampers for our cars. They are AMAZING shocks.

Thats the main idea, when i wear somthing out i usually up grade. But with suspension i dont want something track orented. Ive never been on a track and dont have any plans to. I am afraid that performance means harsh and stiff.

Yes and no, performance to me means controlled. A set of adjustable shocks really helped in that regard. Now I just need to balance my car out so it doesn't understeer as bad. But like I said, the D-Specs really helped the ride out vs stock. It really smoothed out the tiny bumps in the day to day grind. They CAN be harsh on some of the larger bumps but it's not terrible in my opinion.

i cant say if they are the best, but they are definately a popular company, formally air-ride technologies. I think theres a guy on here with thier set-up...can remember his name

Not going to lie, set at full soft, it's very bouncy and will float a bit over bumps. It's quite soft in my eyes. That said, I'm told the Koni Sports at full soft (also adjustable) are much more composed and are much better ride, and when cranked up a bit are as firm as the D-Specs but with better rebound control (better control when the shock/strut extends) which makes them a much nicer damper overall. I just checked the price difference and I was correct, Sam Strano has the Koni Sports for $781.20 with free shipping and my D-Specs where a hair over $700 shipped (I think $704). Whichever route you decide, Sam is a great guy to order from and if you have any questions he is more than willing to answer them for you.

Give it a check. If you ever decide to track your car, or autocross, or drag race it (yes, track meaning roadcourse not 1/4 mile drag ), Sam is a wealth of experience being a multiple National Champion in S197 cars in F-stock. When I say wealth, I really mean he's like hitting the lottery but without the gambling part!
