okay, so my buddies 02 t/a had a custom ground cam, and thats all, pushing 400 rwhp, with heads and a retune, he was at about 485-500 rwhp i believe, along with the small supporting mods...
its just not fair, our twin turbo opportunity makes up for it well...lol

yeah true, but like i stated it doesnt take an ls1 motor a lot of boost to make good power. they allready have the capability top breath a ton of air.

Your hp's are in the ballpark so it may be a traction game. Maybe you should buy HMSUN's slicks
something seriosly must be wrong with ur friends car. Those cars from the factory dyno at over 300 to the wheels. You put heads and cam and a exhuast you should be well into the 400's. Those LS1's are monsters.

and to answer the question is you'd get smoked like a xmas ham. Especially if the TA's an auto. As long as the kid isn't stoned out of him mind, as long as he can get traction your coughing up his dust. He's prolly got about 20-30 horse on you, and is in a lighter car. Now, if the kids a douche and just spins out, you stand a chance, but past 100 i bet he'll run u down like ur a 3 legged bitch in heat.

BTW those times sound accurate, there was a link somewhere with a guy who had a option delete package on z28 bone stock running mid 12's with some slicks.
Um wrong. The ls1 is 325 at the crank stock and their tranny is a little power hogger. True his numbers would be better with different cams and his head work is a little DIY, it's true. If he had a complete CNC set up he would probably gain some nice power.
