8 point roll bar for daily driver
Car not been to the track in ages. Car is barely streetable with the MAFia going out and car running off safe mode. But the new transmission is in and working great and a dynotune/SCT2800 install is scheduled...
So based upon two sub 11.499 1/4 mile sprints on a MustangDyno with the manual tranny and finishing the sprints in 5th gear because car ran out of 4th gear (wrong rear tires on), we decided to go tubular, before going back to the track. It's really not bad, except that in a rain storm you're gonna get wet (extra time taken to get in and out). Girlfriend climbs right over on her side. I tried that only once. Still getting used to the Hurst and tranny. |

The shifter is Hurst Pistol Grip with electronic momentary switch hooked up to Trans brake. The transmission from FB Performance--Pro Street/Strip 4STB-E -- w/EOD & L/U (Ford MOD motor)

And "05mustang_kb_charged" would know. He was heavily involved in the install of the tranny and other major mods. I can tell you what it drives like and can show you pics...but when it comes down to the engineering and technical details (how things actually work), I have to surrender to 05mustang_kb_charged and the other experts on our little team.
