Check out Ford Racing suspension package over all price is good and you get the strut tower brace which the Eibach doesn't include. You will see a huge diff in handling etc.

That may be true, ace, I don't know. I have heard that people have had good luck with the FRPP stuff, though, so maybe it is the same kit.

try Maximummotorsports.com they have alot of stuff for High Speed Touring. Not sure if they have anything for that particular year but they might help you put together a package.

Next weekend is the next COMMA event at Hallet in Oklahoma. I might be out there in my 98 Cobra.

I also recomend upgrading the brakes before you go out to Hallet, I would hate to see a nice stang in the wall after the long straight. If you get new rotors go with slotted ones not drilled. Drilled rotors will crack out there and it would be a waste of money.

Yeah Maximum Motorsports has it together for the road courses.

I had mine out on VIR here in VA last March.

Before I went I installed caster/camber adjusting bolts and had them dialed in for maximum of both. I think I ended up with -2.4 camber and 7 degrees caster.

Of course you want some LCA's, and when road racing you want to be able to adjust them depending on how it acts when you are trying to apply power out of a corner. Generally you'd use some LCA relocation brackets. I went with Steeda's because they give you four holes for adjusting. The idea is to have the LCA's as parallel to the ground as possible to assist in putting down the power out of said turn.

Yes springs and shocks help immensely too, Eibach's and QA1's is what I use but Tokico are bad ass too!

So yes there are A LOT of things needed to really get these pigs ready to turn and burn, but there's also TONS of info out there to help you learn it.

If you are very serious, there's already some decent IRS's and WATTS set ups available for our S197s and dear lord GET A BRAKE KIT NOW! The GT500 upgrade package is readily available from FRPP and the bang for the buck is hard to beat.

Oh man I could go on and on, LOL good luck, it's no doubt a blast carving up some of that apex with BMW M's nippin at your bumper!!!
