5r55s ?????
hi...
If anyone has any experience with the 5R55S automatic, I would like to know your impressions of it, the capabilities, power capacity if you've tested it and any other helpful information you have to suggest! if anyone knows of some good auto tranny part vendors for the 5r55s I would be grateful for information pertaining to that as well. (Valve body mods, shift kits, clutches, rebuild kit, gears, rearend or full race transmissions etc) ----------------------------------------- 05 mustang |

I've only had my car about a month and I have to say I love the new transmission! A good tune will really do wonders on the tranny also. As far performance add-ons , the August issue of Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords has a tech article on a new transmission kit for it. Hope this helps.

I know that you can't crank the pressure up on it....... I broke my 5r55s!
I've got 480rwhp and I completely twisted the input shaft, screwed up the pump and generally messed things up!
