Hey stanglifemike, Nice pic there with the 99-04 and the 2005+ in the background. That is exactly why I picked the 05 +, the front end looks so much meaner than the last 99-04 model. I do like tha rear of the 99-04 though. ANyway, off topic but what heck

I've got the topline Sylvania's in my car, I purchased them from autozone. I'm sorry I dont remember the PN but they are super bright and white, it just suck I didnt know exactly which lights were used for the foglights so I have these nice white headlights and these ugly yellow foglight. O well what can you do, I'll figure ut out one day. Just expect to pay $20-25 for them a piece.

hands down, but pricey, PIAA's...if you dont want to spend the $$ Silverstars.
PIAA has ultrawhites, plasmas, and somehting else. But they are great, ive seen several sets.

Ive had problems with the silverstars, almost at a 6 month interval of just exploding. Had them on my GMC, did it, on my dodge, did it (and i never touched the bulbs), and now that I have tinted headlights, i dont really care for upgraded bulbs, cause I dont do any out of town driving-usually-and use my driving lights. I am going to make those HIDs, or at least PIAA's

Bulbs

I've been using Silverstars for years, in several vehicles with no problems. True, they don't last as long, but the result is so good I don't care. If they burn out, I'll replace them. Silverstars are the next best thing to HID. Hopefully, Sylvania will come out with the new Silverstar Ultra bulb in the H13 bulb soon, they are supposed to last a good deal longer.

Regarding either the PIAA or Silverstar bulbs ........

Is this a simple bulb replacement or do you require anything additional?

Also, do the lights work the same - running lights; headlights; Hi-Beam with varying degrees of brightness?

I just bought the Silverstar headlights and fog lights on ebay.

Here is the link to the guy I bought them from:

http://stores.ebay.com/ODonnells-Auto-Parts-and-Access

This is not an endorsement of this seller because I have not yet received the bulbs.

You need two Silverstar H13ST for headlights and
two Silverstar 9145ST for fog lights
