Department of Boost GT500 S/C on a 4.6L build
I thought I would post some pics and answer whatever questions I can for anyone thinking about doing the DoB Manifold and GT500 supercharger build. It took about 5 days to install and required lots of customizing. It is certainly not a plug and play kit, but if you have a built block, the possibilities for power are massive seeing as how any of the Whipple / Kenne Bell GT500 blowers will now fit on your 4.6.
Total Cost (not including tune and dyno): $3,600 Time to install: Give yourself 3 days and do lots of research first Tools: All the standard tools plus a grinder GT500 parts used: Blower / Elbow / TB / CAI / Fuel Rails(GT ones work too) / Heat Exchanger / 39# injectors (from 04 Cobra) / coolant pump Most everything else came from the auto parts store with a few things purchased online. Car made 459/455 at 12-15* lbs the first day of tuning, so i switched from a 2.75" pulley to a 3" and made 427/404 at 10-12* lbs the second day. After I get LT's and Cams I'll go back to the 2.75" and hopefully be back around 470whp at 10-12* lbs. *peak -and a shout out to DiMora, This would not have been possible without his help ![]() BEFORE ![]() ![]() The DoB Manifold ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Frankentensioner. It's 2 OEM tensioners stacked on top of each other with the stops ground off. This thing is a beast. ![]() ![]() Manifold on and new valve covers on ![]() Blower on ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() At Dyno ![]() Video at Dyno

That thing sounds badass. Is there a parts list of everything you needed to buy, that you went off of to get started? I'm thinking about going this route, looks like more tooling time, and more interesting to me. And the part where it's about half price.

Also what was wrong with the 2.75 pulley. Aren't those numbers still safe?

Pretty cool. It was about time someone developed and actually manufactured the intake manifold after a ton of babbling about it for years. I don't like it's appearance but that's not a huge issue. As far as the power levels Broken, they are fine. I like to see boost at around 10-11 #s on a OEM motor.

If you really shop around, you can put this kit together for $3000. You save most your money by getting the GT500 parts as cheap as possible.

please edit the first post to make all the pictures on their own line rather than having them on the same line. makes reading your post and looking at the pictures a pain.
definitely a great product that filled a huge gap so people can use all those take off blowers.

I followed Lincolns build on AFM forum. If you have LTs and Cams and don't mind leaning it out alittle bit and adjusting the timing, you can make big power. My tuner made my timing and A/F extremely safe for me. I told him to after I made 15psi the first run lol. I believe another guy on AFM made 530hp on the same set up with LTs and ?? psi, but he is forged and was able to tune more aggressively.
