Mine stickered at 37,900 CDN, and I received a 4200 dollar discount because Ford is a long time customer of my employer.

26K even. Found it used on a Lincoln lot with 200 miles on it. Premium GT.

For anyone new to car shopping. Search all of the dealers you can in as far of a radius mileage wise as you feel comfortable driving. Find the car you want, then if you are not happy with the dealer who has it, simply go to another, negotiate, and if you like the deal, give them the VIN and location of the exact car you want. They can pull it from another dealer's inventory no problem. I've done this with almost every car I've purchased in the past. Always got the vehicle I wanted, and a better price than the dealer who had the car originally would give me.

With this car, I was doing the dealer shuffle the night I found it. Had 2 Vista Blue GTs at one dealer who was definitly playing games. Had another dealer hungry for my business who would steal the cars no sweat. He was less than 5 miles from the first and relished the idea of taking the business. Oddly enough I was killing time before my appointment with him and heading over to yet another lot, made a wrong turn, and nearly got whiplash when I saw my ride sitting on a ramp out in front of the Lincoln dealer. It was mine within days.

I factory ordered mine...I think that is the way to goif you can. It's great being able to tell the salesman what you want and don't want. I know waiting to mod SUCKS. I only have 4000 miles on mine. I started moddong when it had 500 miles on it. I made that decision long before I bought the car. If I void the warreny that is somthing im gonna have to live with. :wink

Where have you been? You must be hanging around a much lower class of woman. Most women are far more mature financially speaking than men. Ya Ford might put you on the pay role when fags become a valuable commodity.

The fact of the matter is irresponsible spending has no gender.

I bought my car on the last day of June. The GM told me he was not going to sell a Black GT cheap so I shok his hand and started to leave. Stickered for $29.8k paid $24.8k before rebates $2k. The key is to buy on the last day of the month a couple of hours before closing. They start to get desperate.

Looks good Farva.

I would put a center panel blackout on there right now. The white stangs look awesome with em.

You paid what the dealer did for the car then. If they sold it for that they won't be in business much longer.

Was it a Deluxe model or a Premium model?

National average thru June of 2007 for a fully loaded Premium GT with 18" wheels, interior upgrade package and exterior appearance package is 27,500-28,500 with all current incentives. Expect this average price to fall off as we move to the last quarter of the year. The low end (lower 5% of sales) were 26,500 to 27,499.

Remember, like anyone else, dealers are in business to make money. They don't take in cars to give them away for what they paid. They would go under very quickly. That said, a dealer that is in an area where the mustang is more popular is likely to not adjust much.

The smartest thing you can do is smile and walk away if your not happy with the number they are throwing you. If they want the sale they'll damn near chase you. Then you know you have the upper hand.

That's the another thing, tax rates in different regions fluctuate as well. Significantly from higher cost of living area to lower cost of living areas.

Skitzo, I think and hope your looking at what you will have paid for the car when it's all said and done at end of the loan term (finance charges and everything). Because otherwise, tax title and license for you was a little over 25% of the overall price of the car. Damn..

I factory ordered mine and I paid $33,100 on the road. That includes convertible, shaker 1000, interior upgrade, converible boot cover and the dealership putting on the strips. Of course mine is a 06.

Well since this style has only been out a little over 2 years most cars are still owned by the original owners.
