Bosch "Iridium" 4-prong spark plugs - Anybody use

The iridium ones are fairly new I believe (I only recently saw a magazine ad for them) but I know from experience with previous beaters like my '83 Supra that the Bosch platinum 4-prong plug really makes an immediately noticeable difference over the standard Champion, Autolite, etc.

However, getting to the '05 + GT's... Has anybody installed Bosch's latest in their 4.6? I was thinking about it ... but if Ford is using those alleged 100k+ mile plugs at the factory, maybe it's a bad idea to mess with that? I only have 15k on my GT...

Thoughts? Or results?

I never really understood the concept on those plug, cause if you think about it electricity always takes the past of least resistance, so its not going to jump to all four of those at once. Only thing I can think of is that when one prong wears out it goes to another one... I dont think I would put those in my car...

Exactly what FastFox said. It doesnt matter if you have 10 prongs, its only gonna go to 1.

I work at AutoZone part-time and I still don't know crap.

I do know this though, stay away from the Bosch plugs.

you shouldn't use bosch plugs in a ford car. bosch are crappy plugs. only uses motorcraft or autolite plugs.
