gas tank jumps from half way to zero?

this has happened to me a few times, when i would make a hard turn or even sometimes even a normal turn, the gas gauge would jump to red and say im out of fuel totally. Then after awhile of driving, it would slowly increase back to the same amount? Is this just because of the car shaking and shaking the gas around causing the car to miss read the amount of gas in the car or should i get this checked

Its a TSB, check the sticky. I had my fuel gauge sensor changed, so far it happend 2 times after the replacement and hasn't happened anymore, I'm blaming the gas station I used to go to.

that happens to me if i takea turn hard and some times like normal too...i sayed a local tireplace and they said that its cause the gas moves it the tank really fast and make that gauge change...

it hasnt happened in awhile......and they told me not to worry about it....
