Here is the graph I said I would post of the dyno result. I'm not sure if you can make this out or not.

Thats not the type of graph you should have... And those numbers are off.

He should have given you a graph with HP, Torque, RPM and A/F ratio.

All I have to say is thats weird... Thats like diesel numbers, lol.

Makes me wonder if he knew how to operate the equipment. It almost looks like he did the run in the wrong gear.I was told 4th gear is 1 to 1 ratio and that is where they do the run. Your car can't be that different and the hp and torque are so far apart.

Yeah something is jacked up. Go elsewhere for a dyno tune.

no i think i got it. he prob said you made 281 hp before the supercharger and 281 is a very good stock number. then he prob said you made 408 after the supercharger install and besides your torque most likely should be lower than your horsepower after a supercharger install. This is the only way it would make sense to me.

Hey GTNorm. The guy did red line in 4th gear. I just don't know what to make of this test.

the torque is usually higher or close to the same hp on the twinscrew and roots cars because they make boost so low in the rpm range, it also has to do with timing and fuel curves, my car was making 464 rwtq at 2100 rpm and topped at 502 at 3800 rpm. a centrifugal car usually has a lower torque number, the graph is definitly not the right one, instead of mph they should show rpm

Wally....if it was me...I'd print out this thread and take it to the dyno guy and ask him to splain it. The results just don't seem possible and if he's a descent guy he'll probably retest it just to see if his equipment has lost calibration. Norm

Wally. How does the car feel? Is it much faster, and is it running ok? If I were you, I would do as Norm says. I would also take the time to research some other dyno numbers for similarily equipped cars to bring & show him. Our cars with 8-10 lbs. boost on a s/c will typically pick up roughly 100 hp at the wheels. I'm probably pushing almost 300 to the wheels with mine, and all I have done is CAI, a good tune, and exhaust.

That statement will vary, I have a turbo with 7 lbs of boost right now and gained over 150 at the wheels and that was in a 103 degree shop with conservative tune.
