4 hours is not excessive for a thorough and careful job.

The 180.00 seems a touch high but not outrageous. Generally we see 150.00 or so locally.

4 hours is not bad at all!! and $180 is cheap!

my body shop took 8 hours, cause he wanted to make sure he did them right, there were no air bubbles, etc. and he charged me $250 to install them.

but mine are coming off, 1 year later and its starting to show signs of scratches, dirt and ware, going into the paint shop to be painted on

Texas, don't do it! save your money and get it done right by a good paint shop. Vynal sucks it is what you might call cheap plastic and we all know what UV, chemicals, and even deposits in water do to plastic; what are you going to do use armoral on it? Paint goes on paint, the only thing good about plastic is its cheap and you get what you pay for!

Hey texas_mustang where do you live in texas? my aunt owns a Vinyl printing shop and i could hook you up with the good 3M tripple ply vinyl and she'll install it. she has contracts with a bunch of big companies and she has covered my whole jeep in camo. her guys know what they are doing and she could probably knock it out pretty quickand cheap. like $150 for install and materials, thats for the full wrap vinyl

Preferences and opinions aside, a good quality vinyl (read 3M) done correctly is a high value option to paint on paint. If you have not already bought your stripes, check with Mike @ Regency Restyling, a real pro. Upkeep on an investment like this is to be expected, especially in Texas. I put "mat" black on Grabber Orange, most of it sun side up. The hood and rear deck I wanted simply were not available pre cut and I was happy to pay for a quality custom install. Will post a couple of pics once I figure out the Rubic's cube size limitations here. Would be happy to share some via pm if the attached pics do not make it. The "C" stripes I did myself.

Bossedup, where did you get your upper and lower grills and the little fogs? That's the look I'm thinking of heading towards.

Regency Restyling in Ft Worth supplied and installed them. Originally billet, I had them powder coated. The invoice references them as a "Regency" product with no part#. I worked with Jesse Simon @ 817-847-6342. Great bunch to work with.
