Buying a new car.

I wanted to get your opinions on what I should get on the car and what I should look out for.

So far this is what I got.

Gt 5 spd.
Black on black
Leather
Shaker 1000 audio
3.55 gears
Blue tooth built in.
Ant the sport appearence package.

Does that sound like a good set up? What else should i look for. Also, should I just order it with that set up or pick one off the lot with close to what I want?

get the drag pack installed :wink

I think is has like 4.10's, shorty headers, short throw shifter, instake, and tune(which sucks) guaranteed to knock .5 seconds off the quartermile

no appearence package. the fake hood scoop is ugly. i like the look of a hood scoop but not the one from ford. here is everything you should get:

Yeah, but thats the GT aperance package, not the sports Appearance package, reason why I edited my post, lol I confused them too. The scoops look atroucious... Could'nt look any more fake

The IUP is better, even thought it doesn;t have the aluminum pedal covers, but it offers more, like the Mycolor and the Mustang letterin on the door on the door sill.

+1 Except for the 18" polished aluminum wheels...save the dough and spring for some black razors...Effin-A!

Oh and save the extra money on the 3.55 and just put it toward a 4.10 install...or just get drag pack like Regency said

I like my 18" wheels... there not the bullits (thank god) but the fan blade ones. I'm pissed that I have 3 of them scratched

It gives you 125 colors to choose from for the gauges.

mycolor lets you adjust the color of your gauges. nice little show off add on.

i think there is like 132 different colors.

i dont know. mine came with it and i didnt even realize it until i started pushing buttons and the directions for how to change it popped up in the info screen.

Went and looked at some tonight...

Have you guys heard of the shelby GT? not the gt 500

Its a GT with stripes, says shelby on it and has a plaque inside. Short throw shifter, CAI, Cat back system, different tune then the factory tune...

Sticker price on it was 50k.... he said I could take it for 38k.... I might tell him I'll do it for 34k or no deal. What do you guys think?

319hp and 340tq... I like the rear facia, the front doesn't do it for me... I like the stock fog lights

I would take it for 38K hands down since the base MSRP is 36K

yep, Flywheel... when do you ever see RWHP ratings on cars... but I think the Supension mods and the little tune and facia is worth it... considering my 'stang was 37K (due to taxes)
