Lowering Question

I put in the BMR Lowering Kit (lowering springs are 1.25" Front and 1.75" Rear) along with the LCA relocation brackets and BMR adjustable panard bar a little while back. Everything looks right and the car handles WAY better. One thing that has happened since putting the gear on is when I go over a bump that compresses the rear end (like a drainage ditch, or dip in the road), I hear a "clunk" from the rear end. It almost sounds like tools from in the trunk rattling/bouncing around once (and no, there are none). I have everything greased, torqued at ride height, etc. I am wondering what the F is making this noise. Could it be my shocks bottoming out? Any of you experience a similar situation and what was done to correct?

I'm thinking of just purchasing the adjustable Tokico D-Spec shocks for all four corners, but don't want to give up the duckets and have it not solve the problem.

Thanks for the help!

What's your feeling on the D-Specs? It looks like everyone raves about them. Did they provide the appropriate spring rate for the lowered ride height? I know Tokico advertises it does all that crap, but there is no substitute for hearing it from someone who has them installed.

Sounds like its bottoming out ( hard to say though without actually hearing the noise though ). another option though, did you check to make sure the isolators on the tops and bottom of the springs are in the proper position, it could be the springs hitting steel whenever tension is let out then applied agian... Might need new isolators

i was just gonna say that. i think the bump stops will make contact before the shock bottoms out. i lowered mine about 1.5" and there is not much travel maybe 2" before the bumpstop will hit. i left it alone cuz i figured better that than the shock.
