Saleen SC Help

Hey all I have a 2006 Mustang GT with the Saleen supercharger on it. Now this is going to be a two part question and I REALLY hope you guys can help because my local dealer is half retarded.

The first problem I noticed is my exhaust sound and lag when I floor it in high rpms. Could this be because of the actual Saleen S281 exhaust+tune? The exhaust (I believe even after the recall after 2005) has the dumps on the mufflers made to open up at a certain RPM to make more HP. Could that be the problem on my Bassani mufflers with the stock Saleen tune designed for the Saleen exhaust?

And the main problem: When driving my car with the radio down I can hear a scraping noise from the engine bay. I popped the hood and I can hear it directly on top of the SC. Its as if two metal pieces were being rubbed together or two knives (best association i have) were being scraped bladed to blade. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the injector tap (which I hear separately anyway).

Help guys?

I dont know anything about the salleen exhaust system and the dump thing???

For thr scraping noise, I would disconnect your air intake tube and look at the throttle body to make sure nothing is causing it... also check all of the intake itself.... have you had any engine codes come up.

If I were you, I would find a good custom mustang tuner, buy a tuner and have him dyno tune it. You will get more power and you will know your tune is dead on with the air/fuel. Good luck!

might want to call SALEEN and find out if it's normal, or JDM. i don't think it should be making any scraping noise, before i put kenne bell on my car i looked at the blades (SCREWS) and if they have a machining error the blade might be rubbing together, i'm not sure about saleen but kenne bell has two gears(one for each rotor) and if the tolerance is off might be letting the gears rub
