2005-2007 Mustang GT Novi 1000 Supercharger System

Does anyone know anything about this system and if it is worth the money or not?

Turbo's & Centrifugal type s/c'ers make more power in the middle & top of the powerband.
Roots type & Whipples, or twin screws, make better power in the lower half of the powerband. So it all depends on what you want & when you want it.

Learn about twin screw's (Whipple): Twin Screw

Learn about Roots type: Roots

Learn about Centrifugal s/cers: Centri's

Learn about turbos: Turbos

You wont be turbo or supercharging anything for $4000.

If that's really your budget why don't you look into stroking the engine with forged internals. Buy your forced induction setup later.

Otherwise;
CAI
Throttle body spacer
Motion delete plates
Underdrive Pulley
Electric water pump
Aluminun Drive Shaft
4.10's
Custom Tune

The bolt on's will get you another 40ISH horsepower, but the lightweight shaft and the gears will make it feel like a LOT more than that.

there isa NOVI1200 kit available from of all places Summitracing, prolly find it elsewhere too, for less than 4k. the 1200 is a good blower which will easily provide enough boost for a stock engine. should put you around 380rwhp

IMO procharger is the way to go. I installed mine a little over a month ago, and man does this thing pull hard now... I have ridden in other SC mustangs ( a vortec and a KB ) but I dont think they compare to the procharger setup.

I got mine on-line for a little over 4k. Then did the install myself. They are nice complete kits mine came with everything you could possible need including elec cooling fan, intercooler, injectors, ect... There are several people on here who have the same kit as me and Im sure they will vouch for it too. Plus the sound of a procharger, oh the sound... I have seen all kinds of different deals on the kit out there, you just have to look for the kit that fits you and your price range.

I bought mine from here http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com/ . You can check them out. They are great guys to work with, But I found them while they were running a special on the kit. Thats why I said you will have to look around... Theres always someone out there running a special. Just remeber, if its too good to be true it ussually is. I saw a guy supposively selling prochargers on e-bay for $1,500. Then I look agian a coupple days later and he had a bunch of negitive feedback for being a con. Come on now, who sells brand new prochargers for that price. So the moral of the story is shop around but think realistic.
