Coolest Short throw shifter for GT?

yES MY HURST SHIFTER IS IN! i did everything myself (with 1 assistant)

Super easy, only took 1.5 hours and four screws... the hardest part was turning the knob on the ball to line it up right.... anyways pics will be in soon but it basically looks the same as ace except my leather isnt so wrinkley

I think the MGW shifter is by far the best shifter for the S197 at this time. The quality of this piece is by far superior to the rest and is surpassed only by the level of customer service MGW provides.

Here is a picture of the MGW shifter with the stock boot and the hurst white shift knob. When you order the shifter, you have to specify whether you will be using the stock shifter knob or an aftermarket. If you select the aftermarket, it will look as shown in this picture. If you select stock, the boot will completely cover it and you will not see the shaft.

George is working on a new flat shift bar and a t handle shifter similar to the hurst. That will be a really nice option when it becomes available.

I am about to order a Roush - for me I like the stock boot and shift knob.

Any cons about Roush before I pull the trigger???

I don't like the Roush, I drove a car w/one in it and its loud and too notchy for my liking.

i have the hurst and love it, but I hear great things about the MGW shifter. but I cant justify paying $300 for a shifter.

Check this MGW piece out and tell me what ya think, guys. I'll be making my shifter choice soon, so I'd also appreciate any further input......and don't give me any shifty advice. HAHA! Shifty. I kill me.

MGW Shifter

Seems pricey, but then seems to have some features that other shifters don't have.
