Coolest Short throw shifter for GT?
I like the hurst shifter but wanted some other options to take a look at. What do you guys recommend from personal experience?
Still waiting on a time estimate on my 08. Sucks waiting. Thanks.

hurst is a GREAT shifter and i think its the least expensive

Both the Steeda Triax and MGW are patented or patent pending so you cant go wrong there. I personally own a steeda and love, couldnt figure out why I waited so long to get it. Keep in mind that there was a "break in" period. It was super notchy and stiff at first but now its amazing. I've also driven a Shelby GT that comes with the Hurst, I thought the stick was a little long and the center spring in it wasnt nearly as strong or effective as the Steedas, BUT you still get the stops to keep yourself from damaging the trans linkag and it certainly is a lot less expensive. So take you pick and rest assured no matter which on you go with it's gonna be better than the stock for sure.

Really, any of the top brands are going to be much better than stock. I have had Pro.50, and steeda in other cars, but have only used Hurst on the 05+. All great shifters. I went with the hurst mainly to add to the retro styling of the new body style and I get tons of compliments for it. There is also a break in period with it though, but slam a few gears and life is good.
