3500ish maybe 4 grand. and if the car is stock you could launch at 6k and not break anything. there isn't enough grip to break anything. the best thing to do is to go out and experiment. but use 3500rpm as a starting point.

it can, but didnt you drive the car to be driven?
we have 31 spline axles in this model (s197), mosers race axles are only 25% stronger. if you have factory gears and clutch packs, it wont be quite as strong as an aftermarket gear/cp swap, but they are hellaciously strong. Mine has taken 5500 rpm launches on mickey e.t. streets for a while now, and hold up amazingly. you wont get enough grip to break anything back there without mickey's or stickies/slicks. if you re at he track, I suggest trying 2500, feathering, then getting into it. you might could pull off a 3k launch. with minimal wheelspin. what mods do you have?

When launching a car... leaving, what ever you want to call it. If you just rev it up to 3500 and dump it, you prob wont get any traction. As your going in on the gas quickly slip the clutch. But slow enough to avoid tire spin.

Speaking from experience - 285/40/18 Toyos need to be launched no more than 1800RPM to keep traction. My 275/40/17 HOT Sticky Mickey Thompsons can be launched at 5000rpm with traction - Street tires SUCK!

I generally launce at 2500 to 3000. Kinda depends on the tires you have along with the power.
stock + decent tires you could launch @ 2500 |
