Tracks in North Carolina

Looking for a quarter mile that does stuff with street cars. I want to see how fast she goes now but I jsut moved out here from the west coast. Any ideas? I live near Wilmington. Thanks guys

Hey I live in Jacksonville and I know a few people from Wilmington who come to the same track I go to. Its just outside of Jax off of Hwy 24, heres a link to their website. Thursday nights are test and tune at 6pm to 10 pm and thats usually the best night cuz its never crowded and you can get a ton of runs in, saturdays are street legal drags and grudge racing at 8pm to midnight or so, its usually packed but still a good time.

Where about in Carolina? There are a few tracks around Fayetteville and surrounding areas.

Damn RStrick0352 You must have got some practice in with that 1/4th mile time? No gears yet?

As for the track next thursday I wont be able to make it, I'll be in the field all this week till Saturday. I might be able to make saturday night tho. PM me and let me know. As for my 1/4 mile time, yea I've gotten a lot better and much more consistent, I actually won a trophy a couple weeks ago in a bracket comp and I was the only manual car in it too, so I was pretty psyched. No I still dont have gears, I'll do them along with all new rear suspension components and drag radials here soon. I was hoping for 12's on street tires but it wont happen till gears, and it might not then either. I have a high trap speed considering the times I run. The whole story is told in my 60 ft which the best I've done in that was 2 secs flat.... 12's soon enough tho.

Same with my dads car. It's best run was a 13.14 on street tires. I think the 60' was like 2.1 or 2.09. Wish we would ran the slicks on motor cause she trapped 105 so 12's were there. Your 107 can put you in to 12's easily.
