Which Gauge Pod?

The Whipple kit arrives next week and I need to decide which gauge pod to go with.

I *think* I've narrowed it down to either this one:

or Saleen's (love the fit and finish, hate the price tag):

Dash, I think. Not too worried about putting a few holes in it as I don't plan to uninstall the s/c any time soon!

Want 2 gauges: boost and intercooler water temp

then go with the saleen. and if in the future you want to add more guages the Speed of Sound a-pillar pod matches the saleen.

Speed of sounds all the way. AutoMeter offers a gauge pod for the center dash section that looks pretty good, but I haven't tried it. I have the SOS and think it's great. Cempletely factory.

Fast fox, they make both a dual and a triple for the convertible pillar these days. Might as well go straight through them. Not much cost saving through some of their vendors unless you find a huge group buy.

I have A/F, boost on the pillar, large tach/shift light on console and fuel pressure/ transmission fluid temp in the center...but for pure looks I think that either of the two examples shown are classier and better looking than mine...think I prefer the Saleen one though...really nice looking and subtle.

SOS makes the double and triple for both coupes and verts. I have a vert and my triple is sitting in my back seat waiting to be installed sometime this week. I ordered mine with the Raptor claw and purchase the raptor shift light. Everything is VERY professional looking and a direct replacement for the A pillar.

You bet! I'll post them on my website in my signature when it's done and try to update this thread with pics. They look sweet and I can't wait to install it.

Just placed the order on mine. Hopefully it will get here soon. Thanks for the pics they sold me. I ordered up the same thing, three pods and the raptor claw. Now I just have to get rid of this one some jackass sold me that doesnt fit my vert.

Nice! That sucks about the one that doesn't fit. The Raptor Claw was a LITTLE tricky to install (as mine came without it already done). You have to drill a 1/8" hole on the pod of your choice (the second one made the most sense to me) to mount toclip for the Claw. After fiddling with it, it mounts just fine. Then, you have to drill a 1/4" hole to route the Claw's wiring. they give you a rubber grommet to finish it off nicely. All in all, I'm very pleased with it. When I get into the car, I have something new to take my off the road for

Gunny, I LOVE the pink bike with the bunny on the handlebars in Pic 3. Is that your daily driver?

Seriously, I like the way that looks. I bet with the top down at a redlight it'll make QUITE an impression!
