Heh, I had an old lady in circle k the other day ask me if I had a blower on it, people who know about superchargers know what it sounds like... and for those who are ignorant to the fact will learn when they get left behind. It speaks for itself.

If you’re keeping the outside of your car stock I say go sleeper. Those who know superchargers don’t need to be told. Those who don’t, need to be schooled.

Believe it or not for the first 3 months it was out, nearly all my racing was caused by the body. Most people think all show no go, and get real cocky about it. Even with that loud azz procharger tellin everyone about itself.
How could you not hear a procharger. I can pick one off from a block away. There is definitally nothing stealth when it comes to these superchargers. I love how it makes the hairs on my spine stand up when I fire it up, then they get matted back down when I hit the gas. I know what you mean about looks. I definitally get more looks once I put the side exhaust on, wait till i find my Roush front. I think it will look pretty good.

It's a bit different here in the UK as Mustangs are rare. I choose to advertise for two reasons - firstly, the Range Rover badges look great against the silver and secondly, it tends to actually stop people wanting to race you - call it a visual Top Trump. I've got one on the back and one on the front wings:

I would guess most people don't even notice them and most people over here wouldn't even know what a supercharger is.

Couple reasons people don't know actually.. Firstly, if it's a true race, it's discussed while the car isn't even running and it's done from a dig. If things go my way, the inquiring mind didn't hear the car or see under the hood until we were done with discussions. Secondly, nearly everyone that sees my ride thinks it's a trailer queen, unbeaten in terms of use and care, and not likely to say yes to any sort of racing.

Obviously by my signature you guys know otherwise. However, on the street people see the car and honestly think it's just all show.

My mustang has alotof show to it (body, chrome 20" wheels, lowered, ect) but it is a sleeper in terms on mods for performance. My exhaust is really quiet! when I put the turbo kit on because the exhaust as so long to travel before it exits the car. It is more quiet that stock. Also with the way my grill is, you can't see an intercooler at all and the turbo is silent until 3,000rpm. Everyone thinks it's stock including the guy I raced that had an LS2 GTO with full bolt ons anda 125 shot of laughing gas He got blown away :sleep

To answer the questions:

1. It's just Satin Silver with lots of Zaino on it.
2. The gas here is just under 2 dollars a litre but our gallons are bigger than yours. I think it works out something like $6 a gallon. It does cost a lot to fill it up so it's lucky the tank is small but the mpg is pretty good.
3. The wheels are Weld Forgestars but they've been a catalogue of disaster from the day I bought them. First, they didn't fit, locking on the rear calipers, despite being advertised as being for the S197. Weld took a few months to supply me with spacers for the back (which I wasn't happy with). Within a few months, the chrome on the rear wheels developed stress cracks and began to peel off and shatter. Long and short was I had to return them to the US, Weld took 2 months to replace them and when I finally got them back ($690 lighter of pocket in shipping charges) they'd changed the design! So now instead of the elegant slim spokes I wanted, I have more of a drag wheel look on the back and stuff all I can do about it!
These are the wheels before:

And this is after - note the bigger center and shorter and wider spokes.

I know what you're thinking - it's unforgivable that I didn't align those seat backs before taking the photo!

How if your gallon bigger than our gallon? I thought a gallon was a type of measurement? are your seconds longer than ours? I think I might want to ship my car there and run your track, I might be able to run in the 9s.

All you need to do is put a huge tire on the back to complete the look.

OK Class, open your books at Page 1: :lala

Comparison of Imperial and U.S. volume measures
1 U.S. fluid ounce = 1.041 Imperial fluid ounces
1 Imperial fluid ounce = 0.961 U.S. fluid ounce
1 liquid U.S. gallon = 0.833 Imperial gallon
1 Imperial gallon = 1.201 liquid U.S. gallons

The origins of these differences lie in the variety of systems that were in use in Britain at the time of the establishment of the first colonies in North America. The American colonists adopted the English wine gallon of 231 cubic inches. The British of that period used this wine gallon, but had another gallon, the ale gallon of 282 cubic inches. In 1824, the British abandoned these two gallons when they adopted the British Imperial gallon, which they defined as the volume of 10 pounds of water, at a temperature of 62 °F, weighed in air with brass weights, which, by calculation, is equivalent to about 277.42 cubic inches (4,546.1 cm³)—much closer to the ale gallon than the wine gallon.

OK, consider yourself schooled. The British second ought to be less than the American second as you're obviously a bit slow.

Now you know why British Mustangs do 24mpg and not 20 and why our cars seem so much more economical - we get more gas in a gallon.
