I went with the P1SC tuner kit with 3" intercooler. Started at 9lbs, recently bumped to 11lbs, but no new tune as yet.
At 9lbs, 455hp / 409tq on my conservative tune. On my race tune at 9lbs it put down 470hp / 425tq. This was on a dyno jet. As mentioned, since then I added my long tubes, 60# injectors, and the 11lb pulley and need to return for the tune.. |

so the tuner kit would be just the pipes charger and you did the tune injectors fuel pump stuff like that

In the tuner kit you get nothing fuel wise. No pumps, no injectors. I'm not sure about the HO offerings, but I think they go with FRPP. I have friends that vend much of the FRPP product and got all the rest of the parts for far cheaper. Which is a main reason for my choices.
As for the BAP, I'm just anal and didn't like boosting voltage for more fuel..Not that there's problems, I just don't like the set up.. |

on the street 699.00 is the best I have seen.
I paid 625.00 prior to the kit releasing to the public (family connection - about 3 months in advance). Then put another 70.00 into the in tank assembly. The change I made makes it so that the pumps don't drop off pressure so dramatically after a WOT pass. Without it pressure sometimes drops to 15-20psi at complete release of the gas pedal. Mine now holds a more accurate and consistent 30psi. It's just an inline deceleration voltage regulator for the most part. |

Emay, you said your kit started off runnung 9lbs, is that what you were reading on your guage or what the pulley was rated at? Im pretty sure I have the same pulley and am only getting 8 out of mine right now. Did the tuner kit come with the electric fan, ect...? of just the charger, brakets, and plumbing?

Fastfox, Mine came with the fan, head unit, intercooler and plumbing (blow off valve), bracketry, and maf extension.
I originally only made about 8lbs, but found some belt slip and upon tightening got 9lbs. Are you running a 4.25 or a 4.35 pulley on that thing? |

Im pretty sure its 4.25. When I go home during lunch Im definitally going to be doing some tightening, I'll let you know here in two hours if it got up to 9 or not. Ok, from the sounds of it we have the same kit. I thought maybe you got the more simplified one, since you wanted to go your own route on a few of the options.

Nope, I sort of spread my wings a little quicker than I planned, but I think we started with the same kit components as well. Mine was definately the 4.25 pulley standard. So yours should be the same. tighten up the belt a little and see where you are at.
I didn't check your other mods, are you running long tubes or midlength headers? Those will bring the boost down slightly as well. It's not a performance loss, it's a flow gain.. |

Thats fine. My parts list has been a little jacked up here recently, I have been adding parts without removing parts ( i.e. running a procharger and a C&L intake
) Im running Long-tubes. I understand the concept of losing boost but gaining power due to efficent flow, so no worries there.

WElp, went home and tightened my belt. Did get it a little tighter, but no boost gains. Like you said its prob. due to engine flow. Oh well. I guess I will have to settle for 8lbs for now. Im sure I will add more all in due time. I need to work out my tractions issues first anyways... Thanks for the help though.
