Mod List. What should i change if any?

ok so finally after all the reading i have done i have come up with what i want to do with my vehicle. What i want in the vehicle is a modified GT. something that when someone gets in knows it isnt stock and something that when someone gets passed by me knows that it has some power. Im in college and I am on a budget, so i have decided to do all my mods on one date. SEPTEMBER 9th, for three reasons.
1. i will be off of probation.

(dont ask, I was innocent just didnt want to pay court and lawyer fees to fight it.

)
2. I will have savings from working all summer. :award and
3. thats my birthday

and i know my dad is getting me something for my car.

so here is what im planning on getting.

C&L intake
SCT X2 bamachips tune
eibach pro springs
tokico shocks and struts
hurst short throw shifter
pypes o/r H pipe
spintech axle back

im installing everything myself except the suspension components. Id rather pay someone to deal with that mess and do it in 2 hours then spend 6 hours of head ache doing it myself.

Let me know if i should go with something else, or different brand.

THANKS GUYS, just having a site like this with a group of guys like yall are makes making those monthly payments worth it.

i have pretty much the same setup except for the shock/struts and the spintech axleback, i say go with the borla/FRPP stingers they sound great with the o/r Hpipe...i get nothing but props from everyone

I would say +1 for the FRPP stingers. I have pypes o/r h and the stingers and people tell me all the time it's the best sounding 'stang they've ever heard.

I've got a few mods you are looking for. look in my garage >> bhblondguy

Also you may want to go with some new tires because all that power is worthless unless you can hold it to the ground!

and if you're not running a full synthetic oil already, put in 6 qts of Valvoline Syn Power full synthetic. get it at O'reileys or Auto Zone

that will def. free up some more horses

already running with the purple demon. replaced all fluids with royal purple, including rear diff and tranny.

It would be best to buy some gears 4:10's. That with intake and tune and some exhaust work and your car will seriously wake up. But gears is the ebst mod for any gt.

the only thing is the K&N blows in comparison to the C&L/JLT.

The k&n is a great intake... I all ways loved it and it had great results.My dads looking to sell his since he has the blower now. Cheap to if anyone is interested.

Well what I said before came out wrong. The K&N isn't a bad intake, but the C&L/JLT will give better results.

I would go with a MGW shifter instead of the hurst. I have not used either, but have heard that MGW surpasses them all in terms of quality. It is a little more expensive though, if that is a problem. Check it out though.

what do yall not like about spintech?

I havent heard them on a s197 with an offroad h, but i havent heard the stingers in person either. I was just going to go with spintech because of a buddy of mines 04 that was running the spintech prostreets with an offroad h pipe. I liked the tone, loud but deep and race inspired. I cant imagine how good they would sound with some LTs and cams. but then again what doesnt.
