You're just hurting the looks. Its the same thing as the loudmouths just with out the tips.

I have borla l/t's with o/r x-pipe and the flowmasters sound like shit! I took them off and put the SLP's back on. It is loud but sounds good! I want to get the Pypes mid muffler set up.

Well it was late so I didn't try to get another clamp and it turns out that I REALLY like the sound without any mufflers at all...so I'm prolly gonna get me some SLP's REALLY soon. But am I hurting my car any by leaving the muffler's off till I actually get my SLP's to put on?
Nope!

I have the SLP's (muffler delete kit) & love them!
I think most aftermarket mufflers for these cars
wont be much louder than the stock mufflers (of course
not including mid-pipes & LT headers)! No regrets with
the SLP's if u like an aggressive sound. My .02

You are not hurting anything, but you may hear some metal on metal "clunking" from back there. With the pipes going over the axle and nothing supporting them at the end, they will move around and make a little contact. I had mine like that for a few days and it drove me nuts! I also agree, loudmouths sound awesome. Made a 2,000 mile trip with them and don't have any complaints.

Gonna jump and give my .02 also...love my slp's. Had a buddy get flowmaster prior to me changing my exhaust. Now he wish he had done some more homework. He loves the sound of mine much more than his so he is adding an x pipe to help it out. With they way you are talking slp's are going to be right for you

my SLP's dont have resonaters lol!

and SLP's are by far a much better sound than Flowmasters... i had Flows on my 03 with an x-pipe, and it was just to droney sounding! SLP's are raspy. very nice sound, i enjoy em. and there is no droning sound while driving down the highway!
