i have an offroad h and stinger axel backs and other than the roar, i can here a kinda hissing, ticking sound when i get on the gas, is that just a leak? its not loud but i can hear it and it sound weird to me. thanks

It could be a leak. Start the car, hop out, and with a rag cover each exhaust tip with a rag. You don't need to close it off entirely. If there's a leak, this may help it show up better. This would be easier if you had a friend helping you.

i did it my self, and i have the metal strap clamp on the axle backs and every thing else is tig welded, so it is ether where the manifold meets mid pipe, where the mid pipe meets the factory pipes, or the axle back.

Dean looks like its gonna hit mexico. I know how ya feel and then I don't. I had 4 hurricanes in one season, but the damage wasn't even remotely close.

I work for a company whose main hydrogen production facility is in New Orleans, Bayou, and our plant was devastated. I have pictures from down there when I was picking up loads, but the pictures don't really do justice to the damage and loss that was caused.

Some of our trucks. Note how high the water lines go on these trucks, which stand almost 13 feet tall at the tip of the stack.







Note the floor of the truck. Mildew damage. We had over 30 trucks sitting there, about 15 of them brand new 120,000 dollar Freightliners that had never turned a wheel. All junk.

One of our nitrogen trailers. We evacuated all our hydrogen trailers, which cost in escess of 1/2 million dollars to produce, each. Unfortunately we didn't have the manpower to get everything out in time.




So sad. Peoples houses gone. Not wrecked, just gone. This is right on the edge of the gulf on a service road. The locals say that none of the words or pictures ever printed will be able to explain what it was like when a wall of water just swallowed their entire area.
