Borla axleback and catback exhausts

Anyone know the horsepower I can expect from an axleback compared to a catback borla exhaust? (07 mustang gt) I will also be getting a CAI and Tuner

0!! zero power will result between the two. your better off getting the axleback. its a waste on the catbacks. your getting the same piping you already have on the car.

if you looking to get the price lower, look at the Ford Racing exhaust. its stamped with the ford racingname , but its the borla exhaust. borla manufacture's for Ford Racing

where do you plan on getting the CAI and tuner from?

I bought the cat-backs and regret it. There is SO LIITLE difference in the factory over axle pipes vs the Borla's that it's a total waste, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake--just do the axle backs. If you want to hear how they sound, go to my wen site in my signature. There are also a ton of sound clips on You Tube.

so the exhaust doesn't add any hp?? I thought along with a CAI and tuner that it would help out with the airflow and add some kidn of hp....

as for the CAI and tuner i'll most likely buy it off ebay since i'm in ottawa and i dont know a place I could buy them locally for a decent price. not sure what CAI or tuner i'll get but i'm goin with borla for the exhaust for sure

I noticed little to zero HP gains with just the exhaust. Of course it sounds WAY better. The CAI is a very nice naturally aspirated upgrade. My K&N I first put on made a noticeable difference. You'll be happy with the mod.

The exhaust power gains will come in with headers and a midpipe. A CAI/tuner will make the biggest.

i wouldn't buy a CAI/tuner off ebay, I'd go with a direct vendor. I'd go with BamaChips, he will ship to ottawa!

you will not gain any power from an axleback, its all sound on the new mustangs, no matter what garbage aftermarket companies will post on their websites. the only added power you'll gain from the exhaust is going with an off road midpipe or upgrading to long tube headers.
